Board and Cards

I showed you guys this World Event template that I threw together Wednesday:

It still needs a lot of work (which I'll get to eventually...), but I thought I'd just throw it up here for you guys to comment on.

Last night and this morning I've been working on the actual board. Well, at least the image that will cover it:

What do you think? I've still got to recolor/redesign the continents/territories. Are we going to keep the same territory names? (Irkutsk...pfft.) What numbers are going to be associated with each territory? Also, what are our team colors going to be (so I can put the "personal hell/void"s on the edges of the board)?

Oh, and that post was by me, Clint. Not like it's going to confuse anyone since Jeff is the only other person that posts, but...

Hehehe

I think the board needs a bit more "demonic" feel to it. Fire edges perhaps. I say we recolor the zones, and I thought we were going to do the circles inside the zone (I'll do a mock-up sometime before we meet tomorrow).

As far as colors, no clue. That's Paul's territory. The other thing I think we need to do is make a logo for the game.

Hi all! I think the word apocalypse in the center of the board would look better if we could add more contrast, make it bold or all caps, and set it on fire.

The concept of the blue fire on the card(s) should be extended to the word; but more importantly we should play on this theme and extended the idea even further and introduce different color fires with correspond levels of severity.

Finally, the board could also use a frame, giving the illusion that we are looking down onto the World.

Last time we collected a list of items needed to be placed on the cards. How about having having several options per card: we would have several questions one of the events would be to have no change at all.
